Piggs Peak hails Rahme for World
Series Of Poker Achievement
All hail to Ray Rahme, who has proven
himself to be more than worthy of being crowned the next African King of Poker!
Piggs Peak is proud to have produced such poker talent, which is clearly
of world class standard.
After a poker marathon in Las Vegas that lasted a grueling 16 hours,
Rahme secured a much-desired spot as one of the nine finalists of the World
Series of Poker,
all vying for their share of a prize pool in excess of $22 Million!
Being the first South African to ever achieve such a feat, this makes him a new
poker legend!

The platform from which Rahme has been
elevated into this highly prestigious status, has been the 9th All
Africa Poker Tournament,
which was hosted by Piggs Peak in Swaziland in June 2007.
Rahme, who played his cards exactly right,
reached the finals during this event and placed among the top 5 which then
secured him his place to represent Africa
as a member of the All Africa Poker Team.
Piggs Peak made it possible for the whole team to participate at the World
Series of Poker 2007,
by sponsoring their seats as well as all related costs.
“The All Africa Poker Team has made us
proud, and Rahme especially, has continued to surprise throughout the event”,
says Wendy Graaf, Group Marketing Manager of Piggs Peak Casino.
“It was well worth our while to illustrate to the rest of the world, that
Africa can deliver formidable poker players
that ought to be reckoned with on an international basis.” Rahme’s
progress during the event, can be followed on
www.allafricapoker.tv.
“You go Ray,” said Wendy enthusiastically! “We will continue to watch with
bated breath
and hope that the next WSOP Champion will be Piggs Peak’s very own Ray Rahme”
